Kevin Taylor

President

Relying upon a depth of knowledge from his business, legal, and tax education as well as the wide range of experience he has in those areas, Kevin helps individuals and business owners understand their current situations and define future goals. He provides clients with meaningful solutions to a wide range of financial matters, including investments, risk management, estate and tax planning, insurance planning, and qualified and non-qualified retirement and benefit plans.

Believing that the financial planning process should reflect the client’s vision and values, Kevin designs strategies that are flexible – taking into account that nothing remains static, people’s lives change, and plans need to adjust. His professional motto is: “Nothing is more rewarding to me than helping my clients achieve their goals.”

Before becoming a financial advisor, Kevin practiced law in Orlando, focusing on tax, estate, and asset protection planning for ultra-high-net-worth families. He has presented educational seminars and made presentations to the Florida Bar Association, regional estate planning councils, the National Association of Retired Employees, the Arthritis Foundation, and the National Business Institute.

Kevin graduated from the University of Florida with a BA in economics, a JD with honors, and a masters of laws in taxation. A lifelong Florida resident, Kevin lives in Orlando with his wife, Heather, and their two daughters, Lily and Gracie. He also serves as president of the board of trustees for the Heart of the City Foundation and is actively involved at First Presbyterian Church of Orlando. In his spare time, he enjoys tennis, golf, and fishing.

Kyle Taylor

Wealth Management Consultant

Kyle is an independent financial advisor who works with individuals in or near retirement, as well as successful professionals and entrepreneurs. He focuses on helping them understand the importance of developing a strategic, long-term wealth plan.

Kyle believes that wealth management is a process and a partnership built on trust and integrity. He approaches that process by gaining clarity about a client’s current situation – identifying core values, defining future goals, and developing a flexible strategy that allows them to reach their objectives. Without obligation to any proprietary products, he is able to make decisions in his client’s best interest. Committed to ongoing client support, Kyle conducts regular reviews to make sure a client’s plan remains on course to meet future goals.

Kyle holds a BS in finance from the University of Florida and also attended the College for Financial Planning.

A third-generation Floridian, Kyle lives in Orlando with his wife, Susie, and their two children, Austin and Addison. When not spending time with his family or clients, he golfs and serves various ministries at the First Presbyterian Church of Orlando.

Shelli Ghezzi

Operations Manager

Shelli brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her role as operations manager. She manages every aspect of the client service process, including client account processing and maintenance, obtaining documentation, scheduling, and technology. She strives to provide top-notch customer service to our clients.

Shelli began her financial services career in 2000 as an assistant trader with a local trading firm. In 2002, she joined Kevin and Kyle Taylor’s office as their first assistant at Global Financial Advisory, supporting client services, sales, and marketing. She moved to the Cayman Islands with her husband in 2006, spending four years working as a legal assistant for a large international law firm. Upon her return to Florida, Shelli re-joined Kevin and Kyle’s practice as client relationship manager.

Shelli was born in upstate New York but grew up in the Orlando area. She lives in Clermont with her husband, Eric, and their five cats. She is a member of the Eustis Gun Club and enjoys shooting, scuba diving, fishing, and spending time outdoors.

Christina Hoffman

Client Communications and Marketing

Christina joined the Vaughn Wealth team in 2015 to lead client communications. She brings with her a strong skill set in customer service, property management, and marketing. Christina schedules all client reviews, manages new clients and referrals, and implemented a new marketing and client process. She is often the first point of contact for clients.

Christina cultivated her exceptional customer service expertise over a five-year career with Disney. Throughout all of her past positions, Christina was consistently recognized as a top performer and a team member of the year.

Christina is originally from Atlanta, Georgia. She keeps herself busy outside of the office by raising her three children and two dogs. During her limited free time, she enjoys playing tennis and traveling.
